Bundle of Joy

What a joy it was to photograph this sweet baby boy for his newborn session!  A very cooperative Baby P slept for the first half of the photo shoot and then was wide awake as the rest of the family gathered around their newest member.  I don't think we could have planned that any better!  Here he is in all his yumminess...

Miss Model

A couple of weekends ago I had the opportunity to photograph a great family.  We spent some time at one of the local parks.  The young Miss S was a modeling pro and had a ton of ideas for her poses!  She made my job easy!  :)

Naptime Blues

Not too long ago I had the pleasure of photographing this family in the downtown area of Greensboro.  You would have never guessed by looking at these photos but this little fella had just woken up from his nap and was not loving the idea of a photo shoot.  But after some promises of yummy ice cream he was ready for his close up!  (I have to admit it sounded like a good idea to me!)  :)

This is one of my favorite photos from the shoot!  I love the redness of Mom's hair, her freckles and beautiful eyelashes.  The plumpness of the little one's cheeks and soft blond hair.  Gorgeous...

Baby Bump

So what do you do after a morning of thunderstorms?  How about meet up for a photo shoot!  Sound crazy?  Well, when you are following someone else's agenda (especially that of a little one who has yet to arrive) you don't take chances in rescheduling a shoot.  This Momma's due date is only a few weeks away.  So we waited out the rain and managed to work in a wonderful photo shoot!  Be sure to keep tabs on this family.  They are participating in a "Watch Me Grow" photography package which means I get to join them at key points during their little one's first year of life.  I'm so excited to photograph these milestones in the months to come!

9 Months

I guess this means my "winter break" is coming to an end.  I have quite a few photo shoots and weddings on the horizon!  Enough to keep me busy, busy.  But I'm looking forward to each and every one of them!!!  To start things off we have an adorable 9 month old and his older brother!  You may remember these cuties from a previous shoot:

So here is what can sometimes happen when you tell a toddler to say cheese... This just makes me giggle.  Too cute!
